This time we all know that due to Covid-19, the launch event for iPhone 12 got delayed but Apple come up with an amazing upgrade in there line up for Apple iPad and watch series 6.
Apple has revised there two iPads which is the entry-level 8th generation iPad and second iPad Air 4th generation.
This year Apple has amazed everyone with the features they are offering and powerful processors fitted in iPads, thus creating confusion for many either to take an entry-level iPad 8th generation or mid-level iPad Air 4.
In this blog, I’m going to tell you which iPad is best for you and worth your usability.
iPad 8th Generation
First, let’s talk about the entry-level iPad.
This time Apple has done an amazing work by upgrading the most affordable and most loved iPad in India.
With the same screen size of 10.2 inches, Apple has installed a powerful A12 Bionic Chip with Neural Engine that make this iPad to the next level.
With the storage capacity starting from 32 GB and 128 GB is same as the previous one iPad but I think Apple can upgrade the storage capacity from 64 GB. You can also attach a pen drive which has the lightning port so that you cannot feel the shortage of storage and can easily transfer the files.
They have also added the support the 1st generation Pencil which will help to copy and paste handwritten notes as text, mark up PDF, screenshots and other cool features.
Now with the 8th generation iPad, you will get a support of PS4 or Xbox wireless controller with Bluetooth. You will also get 100 ad-free games in one subscription
The last but not the least, with the powerful A12 Bionic Chip, Apple has not changed the price of iPad that means in India 32 GB variant with WIFI will be available at a price of ₹29,999 and WIFI + Cellular variant starts from ₹41,900.
iPad Air- 4th Generation
The biggest change Apple did with this beast is changing iPad pro like screen and upgrading the processor.
The X factor for the iPad Air 4 is adding A14 Bionic System-on-Chip (SOC) which is the most powerful processor the company has made to date.
This iPad supports 2nd generation Pencil, has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which also doubles up aa the power button.
The most amazing thing is a screen which is 10.9-inch backlit Liquid Retina display with multi-touch, true tone display and has up to 500 nits peak brightness that is 100 nits less than the iPad pro with a pixel density of 264 ppl (pixel per inch) and comes with fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.
iPad Air 4 is packed with 12 MP, f/1.8 lens, live photos with stabilization, 4k video recording, slow-motion video at 240 fps and many more and 7 MP FaceTime HD with retina flash, live photos etc.
iPad Air 4 also supports Magic keyboard like iPad pro version and will be available in 5 colours.
If we talk about the price then Apple has increased the price starting from ₹54,900 (64GB) only WIFI and for WIFI + Cellular, the price will start at ₹66,900 (64GB) variant.
Which iPad is best for you?
Due to price hike of iPad Air 4, some people will divert to the iPad 8th generation but before that, we need to understand the usability of these products.
If you are a video editor or graphic designer or a hardcore gamer then you should straightway choose iPad Air 4.
But If you want an iPad just for surfing the web, dating youtube, play games and the daily task then you should invest the amount on iPad Air 4 rather you can go for iPad 8th generation, as this iPad will not disappoint you regarding the speed and smoothness in the task.
This is the wisest advice I can give to you, but If you can spend more then go for iPad Air 4, enjoy your life.
