Samsung is doing a great job by launching amazing phones this year, either it’s of entry-level or mid-range or premium phone.
But this time Samsung has launched the beast of the entry-level smartphone, the top of the line of M series, a phone named M51 on 10th of September.
M51 is all set to give tough competition to the baby of Oneplus named Oneplus Nord.
Manu of us is confused between these two phones. What do you think will M51 can really beat Nord or not? What is the best thing about M51 that Nord can’t give?
So in this blog, I’m going to share some of my points on Samsung M51 and Oneplus Nord, which one is best for you in terms of features and which phone will be value for money for you?

Screen

Samsung Galaxy M51 is one of the most powerful smartphones in the mid-range segment. It offers 6.7 inches full HD+ super AMOLED display that runs on 60Hz.
while Oneplus Nord has 6.44 inches display Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED, HDR10+ display and runs on 90Hz.

It’s clearly visible that both the screens are superb but Nord takes a point ahead. However, Nord has a smaller screen but by increasing the refresh rate to 90Hz, you can definitely see more smoothness in Nord compared to M51.

Processor

Samsung Galaxy M51 runs on Snapdragon 730G (8 nm) while Oneplus Nord runs on Snapdragon &65G (7 nm). What is the difference?

Well, the biggest point of Nord is that the Phone is 5G capable chipset which makes this phone future-ready while M51 doesn’t have the 5G capability.

Camera

Oneplus Nord feature the cameras of Oneplus 8 i.e. 48MP, f/1.8 (OIS) + 8MP, f/2.3 + 5MP, f/2.4 + 2MP, f/2.4 at rear and two cameras in front of 32MP, f/2.5 + 8MP, f/2.5.
While Samsung Galaxy M51 offers an amazing 64MP, f/1.8 + 12MP, f/2.2 + 5MP, f/2.4 + 5MP, f/2.4 in the rear and 32MP, f/2.0.
The camera of both the smartphone is top-notch, at one side Nord has an optical image stabilization in its main camera that makes the video much stable but in M51 offer 64MP main camera which delivers superior detailing of the picture.

Battery

One of Biggest advantage of M51 where Nord stands nowhere is on the battery.
Samsung Galaxy M51 smartphone has a massive 7000mAh battery which will last till you are alive ( joking) But obviously you don’t need to charge for a whole day.
While Nord has only 4115mAh battery which is almost half of the battery of M51.
Both the smartphone supports fast charging but M51 is a clear winner in terms of battery.

Price and Other Specs

Samsung Galaxy M51 will be available at two price starting 24,999 ( 6GB + 128GB ) and 26,999 ( 8GB + 128GB ) and is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). It will be available in the market form the 18th of September.
Oneplus Nord comes in 3 price tags, ₹24,999 ( 6GB + 64GB ), 27,999 ( 8GB + 128GB ), 29,999 ( 12GB + 256GB ) and you cannot this phone via microSD card. It is already available in the market.

My Review

Both the phones are beast in sub 25k segment, though it’s very tough to tell which phone is best, some give a priority to battery more and to features.
If I have to recommend then except for 5G capabilities, I will choose Samsung Galaxy M51, as there’s nothing like a big difference between these two phones but the bigger battery takes my heart.
Rest, Samsung is a South Korean giant smartphone company while Oneplus is Chinese. Decision is yours
